Our unique traditional stone cottage oozes character, is set in its own valley surrounded by stunning forest and valley views. A perfect location for walking, cycling, wildlife spotting or just soaking up the tranquility. The Elan Valley, Red Kite Feeding Centre & local ammenities of Rhayader & Llandrindod Wells are a short drive away. There is a friendly pub in the village & is a central location to explore the iconic mountains & beautiful beaches that Wales has to offer. A perfect choice to unwind. With a superking and two double bedrooms the cottage accommodates up to 6 people.
Built in the 1840's, the cottage is full of charm and character, maintaining many of the original features. It is south facing so you can enjoy the sunlit scenery all day long.
From the early blossoms to the late bloomers, we've carefully curated the garden to adorn flowers during all seasons giving an enchanting display of beauty thoughout the year.
Lay back and enjoy the peace and serenity of this woodland setting with views over the rolling hills of Mid Wales. The dark skies area allows for some incredible star gazing too
With a superking bed and two doubles, each bedroom has been designed with a comfy sleep in mind. If the peaceful, woodland environment doesn't send you straight to sleep at night, our comfy mattresses and duvets should help you drift off.
Enjoy afternoon tea at our bistro area with panoramic views up and down the valley. While there's table tennis and a field for outdoor games to keep all ages entertained during your stay
Come rain or shine, sit back and enjoy the scenery in our wood fired hot tub under the gazebo, positioned for you to enjoy the views looking up and down our own private valley.
Our quaint cottage is furnished with a traditional, yet modern, farmhouse furniture style, and the wood burner stove means those cooler evenings can be made extra cozy by a warm log fire.
Our patio, with a large fire pit and BBQ, allows you to enjoy al fresco dining and soak up the nature and tranquility late into the evenings looking out over the distant views
Our natural pond in the centre of the land is a picturesque focal point with the backdrop of the valley hills. Wildlife flocks here, including endangered newt species, dragonflies and even an otter. Not to mention the swallows that swoop in during summer
